SpRinG BrEaK

Well i know that we are having a good time when we are too busy to take pictures. We had a wonderful spring break, it was so nice to not have night classes for a week!!! On friday we took off work and spent the day shopping and just hanging out in park city. Eating awesome food and enjoying each others company. The rest of the weekend was lazy and fun, filled with some studying but not too much :) We are now back in school but can hardly believe only a month left in the semester!!!! We are both taking off summer to relax, enjoy utah, and to wait to hear back on my nursing application(yikes).

So ill leave you with this cute pic of our babies snuggling aka Lily trying to dominate Tux by always sitting on top of him hahaha.

I came across this wonderful blog and wanted to share. This woman writes beautifully, i swear i have been crying all afternoon reading it. She recently lost her 8wk old son to pertussis (whooping cough). It is is horrible story but her grief and stories of coping are really touching. It seems like she has so much faith and hope that anything is possible---And of course i wanted to share because it shows why not immunizing your kids is literally the dumbest idea you've ever come up with.

Did anyone else forget that ECLIPSE was coming out in June?!?!? Cause i sure did, i thought i was waiting for november again! And when i got reminded i was so excited!! This summer is going to be amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One because of Eclipse obviously :)
And if all continues to go well like it has been at Chris's new job (just 10 days in) Then we get to stay home for the summer! So we can begin working on getting our own house and such.
I find out if i got into the nursing program at UVU (cross your finger for me).

Wedding Creations.

For some crazy reason i offered to make headbands for 10 bridesmaids and a veil for my baby sisters wedding. I was like hey i like crafts :) Didn't realize when it isnt for you how much stress is put on you! Every little flaw makes you crazy!! But oh well, i got them done, so im trusting you guys to tell me if they are too ghetto for awedding. Preface--my sister is a beautiful soul but loves dark things, her colors are black, silver, and white, which is why there is black in the veil :)

So here is the finished product. A short birdcage veil and flower hand made by yours truly.

For a while i was debating feathers or no feathers, but i think it adds a nice vintage looking touch.

The flower. Just a few layer of black to tie into everything.
The bridesmaids headbands. A horrible pic--But the top flower is a really shiny metallic silver and black. The red one has black sheen to it as well--and there is rhinestones in the middle. A little to moulin rouge with the netting and feathers?? I don't know i couldn't decide haha but hopefully no else feels that way :)

Shout out to my summer headband girls!!! Couldn't have done it without all those craft days!!! S (Sheila, & Jess you better be honest with me about these!!!)

The wedding is saturday, and then ill post some pics of how it all turned out!

Sunshine and Elbow Grease

So excited for spring with all these sunny days lately. I made some fresh juice for breakfast in our amazing juicer :) Can't wait for fruit and warmth this summer!!!

We were given this sweet magenta dresser for free :) Chris being as amazingly handy as he is fixed up beautfully...see above. I LOVE it.
