3 years ago tomorrow, in our tiny apartment, Chris woke me up and said you ready for the best day of your life? I said yes of course but had no idea what he was talking about...

After many beautiful roses he cooked me an amazing dinner,

Made steaks cut out in heart shape, and a bunch of good stuff....

We had tickets to a movie and he suggested a drive before so off we went.

We stopped at the Timpanogas temple and he said "Hey there are some really pretty flowers let go see some!" It being February i said haha no its like 3 degrees outside. He convinced me i would love them so out we went. 3/4 the way around the temple all i saw was snow and dead bushes so i was like umm..."lets go!" he said they were right around the corner then started to walk a little slower,

I turned around to see what he was doing and there he was on his knee.

Telling me he loved me and couldn't live without me.

Tears came and i said YES.

I love him more than anything in this world and can't believe how perfect he is. I am the luckiest girl in world to have found my match. Who loves and understands me through anything.

The one i run to when i am happy, sad, scared, overjoyed, embarrased, amazed, ashamed.

As always...the most shocking rose ceremony ever. In this case no rose ceremony! Haha i love the drama of course but they gotta come up with some new stuff besides work taking them away and then they show up 2 episodes later asking for another chance. But i honestly don't know if when Ali calls Jake will take her back...we shall see...But onto the good stuff HoMe ToWn

-Was it me or did EVERY mom say that they felt that it was right and Jake loved them and they would wind up with a ring on their finger for sure..? Those 3 moms are really gonna start doubting their motherly intuition.

But i dunno i think she might have been on the chopping block if Ali didn't jet. I know you love your Gran but really walking Jake through her empty abandoned death house was just creepy, not romantic. And if you think her spirit really lives in that house now i hope i don't die there, cause it was super creepy...And WHY oh WHY did you make Jakey boy beg you to stay when you knew you were leaving anyways!? Rude. And he already told you that you were "ahead" of all the other girls so i don't know why you expected a proposal right there in your sobbing soccer pony tail glory (twice i might add). You bug but we'll see you in a week or 2!!!

Her family was super cute, but i wish she would've worn skinny jeans with those polka dot rain boots. And yes she is a great dancer but i think we needed to all hear again how her Ex Hubs didnt appreciate her mad dance skills. There was a lot of crying going on but they were nice, her dad was cute, but do you think Tens mom was trying to scare Jake away by saying she is going to have ALOT more emotional breakdowns about the divorce?? He looked kinda scared at that point in the convo...lol

Wow- easy fatherly love...maybe im just jealous cause my dad doesn't give a crap about me, but there was alot of crying and hugging going on there, her mom gave her one hug and that was it but her dad was all over that all night. His redneck threats were quite entertaining through those coke bottle glasses he sports. And why did V keep saying she grew up in the wilderness on a river? its "who she is" Ya just add in a few tanning beds, 14 gallons of hair bleach, a fake rack, and a bunch of cars that's our Country Gal!

LOST and StuFF

WOOT! WOOT! Its BACK!! The best Sci Fi show ever!! Mmmm loved every second of it, Okay except for the Juliet fake out that she might be alive still under there :(

And since i apparantly have only been blogging about the Bachelor lately SO an update on US.

We are working full time and head straight to school after work for the rest of the night. So there is no update hahaha except that we are busy, poor students, who work our tails off and are loving every second of it!

Chris's new job is actually turning out to be a really good thing, i think we will be able to stay here this summer!!!

He is enjoying school and is the cutest lil student i've ever seen. And i get to feel smart cause he asks me for help with homework sometimes lol

We have begun watching 24. We try to watch one episode before we fall asleep after doing homework til like midnight. We are on season 2--lovin it.

Our dogs are cute as ever but having a hard time being home alone soooo much. And my neighbor found tux choking today cause he is the most sickly dog on the planet haha he's okay though :)

Chris's grandpa had a tumor removed from his lung. So pray for him, hes recovering very well happily.

We don't do much but hang out with friends and family when we can-

...I have been hugging the porcelain all night/morning. What does that have to do with you moms? I will tell you.

Twice last week at work (i work for a pediatrician) 2 cute little sick kids on separate days happened to barf on the floor. And for some ODD reason both of these parents thought that it was okay to just leave it there for someone to clean up. That person being me, because Dr Simmons can't handle any sort of throw up. Nurses are not janitors!! It is your kid, so clean up after them, wherever you are please. And while i'm on the subject i thought i would leave some other tips that you may or may not want to know...

-no i am not a mother so one could argue i don't know what i am talking about, but since it is my blog i can vent about whatever i want. You are very welcome NOT to read. So please dont leave me any nasty comments. I happen to get angry when i am sick and am choosing to type it out.

• I love children, which is why i work where i do. Is giving shots fun? No but i choose to keep preventing horrible diseases from re-surfacing in our country. So please don't ask your nurse-How can you do this everyday! With a look of horror on your face as you snatch up your child. It is just plain rude. Some moms cry which i respect, no one wants to see their baby in pain ever. But you chose to get them immunized which i applaude!! Don't get me started on non-immunizers ;) So cry on, but don't made comments to me about how i must have a tough heart. I don't encourage internet for medical help but maybe take a minute to google some pictures of poor babies that have these diseases right now on our planet, and luckily probably not in our country anymore. It might make you appreciate the heartless nurses that shoot up your children.

  A fever is defined as a temperature of at least 100.4- So "low grade" means at least that(100-101). Not 98.9 or 99.2--And believe it or not your hand is not a built in thermometer. PLEASE own one. Doctors ask for specific temperatures for a reason! "feels hot" really? Well babies are either being held against a body or wrapped too tightly in a blanket. They always feel hot. As sad as it is you are getting made fun of for saying that. So please run across the street and use your neighbors before calling your doctor for advice, cause they will always ask what the temp is. NOT how it feels. (literally at least 3 times a day someone will come in, i will take the temp=normal and parent will say really? They felt sooo hot. They just wasted their money and the Dr's time). Oh and read carefully! 100.5 and 105 are SO different! You'd think it was common sense but apparently not. Speak clearly! "one-oh-five" or "one-hundred-point-five."

  I respect that everyone has a different parenting style and I enjoy seeing them all in action. So don't think i am targeting anyone. But please for the love, clean up your childrens throw-up. And if your child is throwing up, call and talk to the nurse before making an appointment. She will help you know if it is time to worry or wait it out some more. Stomach bugs that cause diarrhea and vomitting are 99% of the time ViRaL so there is nothing we can do. But you can give them clear liquids and give it some time instead of bringing them in infecting everyone else in there. The only reason a child should be seen for vomitting is if they are dehydrated. We won't stop the process of them throwing up. (obviously in some extreme cases we do) But i mean in general.

  And my last and favorite. AnTiBiOtiCs. Do not help everything. ONLY bacterial infections! I hear parents begging for them and the doctors explaining why not and they just don't get it. If you take enough antibiotics, like anything else in life your body gets used to them and UnFortunately becomes resistant. So although as a mom you may feel better giving them useless medicine because you think it might be helping, it is helping contribute to a growing world wide problem of Antibiotic resistance. So just trust that your doctor knows so much more than you do about it and follow his advice. I promise i know how horrid hearing that your child has virus and there is nothing you can do but wait for it to either get better or worse is. But that is life. Not fair for you or them. But imagine when they catch something that actually CAN be treated. How great it will be to have that medicine. Or how horrible it will be trying to find an antibiotic that will still work in their body for that type of bacteria because they have had amoxicillin just too many times already and it no longer works.

Vienna i still like cause she is at least real-but lets be honest, i don't think Jake is gonna enjoy buying her a new care every few months like her daddy did. I don't quite see him stepping into that role. However i am excited for her hometown just to see why she is the way she is. One last quicky negative, her and his kids would not be cute...

Alli BUGS...She talks way more smack than Vienna ever did and when confronted finally by Jake pretended like she didn't care at all about it. What the heck girl you've been throwing hissy fits about it! (p.s your pirate boots looked really ugly with your purple sun dress at least now they are ruined because you wore them to jump in the ocean for whatever reason).

OH and CORRIE you are HiLaRiOuS for joking that at 2 on 1 was alli and vienna haha if only Jake had seen that side of you, and the opera singing, you would still be there. Even though he said he didn't care you were a virgin, his face said otherwise...sorry i respect you.

Gia, gia, gia...I don't know what to think of you. But have a sneaking suspicion you'll be the next to go because your acting all shy and half a weird lisp when you talk, but you are beautiful and JaKe likes to make out with you the most apparently.

Hooray for home town next Week! I love seeing everyones disfunctional familes :)
