Family Day

On Fathers day me and my fam, yes fam, like half of my family is out here with us now and i love it!!! So My brother, sis in law, nephew, other brother, and hubby went downtown to have a good time, so of course first up on the list was FILOMENA!!! I never get sick of this amazing amazing food!!! I can't go down town with out stopping there. We had an amazing lunch then walked around georgetown, then hit up the Museum of Natural History. It was a very fun day, i love that my family is here and that we got to spend the day together.

I miss my husband :( He's been away for work for a few days, Does anyone else have the hardest time sleeping when their hubs away?? It's terrible...I miss all the cute little faces and smiles he makes at me, i hate making meals for one, come home Chris!!!

{The Daily Struggle}

Online classes are taking over my life!!! They are sooo time consuming it is killing me. Literally hours on end i sit at this computer studying, reading, testing, and at the end of the day im still behind!!! I guess Chemistry and Math were probably the WoRsT 2 classes one could ever do online but i had no choice. The Chem lab part is sooo stupid but hard at the same time, and yesterday Tux literally ate my homework , i had to cut out some paper shapes and stuff, i go get a drink and come back to find a small spit wad of what my work once was....The math one isn't actually but Chemistry is my new found enemy...UgH--Not to mention i still work everyday as well, so my relaxing summer break laying around the pool and touring D.C. has turned into the craziest, most busy "break" of my life.

They are all best of friends..sorta...Jaxon lOvEs Tux..But Tux doesn't really like to play with him cause he's so much bigger, and Lily lOvEs Tater, she will lick his face and ears to death, IF he'd let her, and as you can see it is not easy for him to get away. They all met last summer and have been good buds since...
And little lil'ster is doing great, she got her staples out finally!!! Her scar is huge, but healin up nicely...I love hanging out with my pups although it does get boring, BUT when i have to sit at the computer doing my classes all day and night they are good foot warmers.

The last few days it has been rainy again, i really enjoyed the couple days of sun! But this is what i've been doing inside....Made Chris a goal board because he sprained his ankle pretty bad and wasn't able to work for a bit, so now that he's back on track i made this to track his sales and remind him of what his goals are for the summer and all the great stuff we get to do when its over!! Its not quite done, still looking a little empty but i like it, and Chris loves the stars haha he loves to put them up when he gets home, makes him excited for work when it can get totally awful and boring...

Lily is doing great, almost back to normal!! This is us just hanging out watching rain outside wishing we could be out playing....
I LOVE this pic, This is how Tux looks when he is trying figure something out, and the last few days it has been, why in the world can't i go outside!! normally when he sits by the door we go right out, and now he just stares at me like this....It kills me, and anything i say he just turns his head a little more like trying to figure out what im saying haha

Now that Lily is doing much better and im not watching her 24/7 i thought i'd share some of the fun times we've been having out here! We went to Washington Nationals game...Took my brother out for his birthday at my FAV restaurant of all time Filomenas...Went and picked fresh strawberries and made strawberry shortcake :) YUM, and a petting zoo with the kids.
